Yes possible but a few things you need to consider before this
To qualify for permanent residency in Spain, you must have legally and continuously resided in Spain for at least five years. Time spent on a student visa counts toward this period only if the residence has been legal and continuous.
For a comfortable student lifestyle in Spain, budgeting around €900 to €1,200 per month is realistic, making Spain one of the more affordable Western European countries for international students. The budget can vary according to the city of your choosing.
Although many universities offer courses in English, most daily life interactions, part-time jobs, and local services require proficiency in Spanish. Lack of Spanish skills can limit social integration, job opportunities, and ease of living.
Learning Spanish is essential for fully benefiting from the cultural and professional environment, which can be challenging for students unwilling or unable to invest time in language acquisition.
While Spain offers affordable education and rich cultural experiences, prospective students should carefully consider the challenges related to language, bureaucracy, degree recognition, living costs, and job prospects before deciding. Students who are not prepared to learn Spanish or navigate these hurdles might find other countries more suitable for their academic and career goals.
Spain can be an excellent choice for students who are adaptable, eager to embrace a new culture, and willing to invest in learning the language. If you prepare well and understand both the benefits and challenges, studying in Spain can be a rewarding experience that opens doors to personal growth and international career opportunities.
