Language of Instruction : 

Most of the programs for Bachelors, Masters and PhD are in English Language. Students can also enrol in a 6 years MD programme completely in English. No need to learn Georgian or Russian — many programs are fully in English.


University Intakes in Georgia:

There are mainly two intakes in Georgia.

Primary intake: 

This intake application starts from the first of April and the classes start in September.

Secondary intake: 

This intake application starts from late October and the classes normally start in February.

Part-Time Job Opportunities for International Students in Georgia:

 International students in Georgia can work part time in Georgia. There is no fixed timeline or hourly restriction like other European governments.

Students can work 20-25 hours weekly and full-time during the  holidays.


Scholarships for International Students in Georgia : 

Currently there is no major scholarship by the Georgian Government still there are some partial waivers offered by the Georgian Universities. Most of the waiver is merit based. Many private and public universities in Georgia offer partial scholarships or tuition discounts to international students, based on:


Although students don't need scholarships as the tuition fee is very low compared to other countries.

Language Proficiency requirements:

There is no requirement for IELTS for students from Bangladesh this simply means students can apply with MOI. But it helps during admission if students have an IELTS score of 5+ overall. 


Proof of Funds( for visa application):

You must show sufficient financial means through a bank statement. Students need to show at least 12-15 lakh in savings account and the maturity of the amount should be 2-3 months.


Part-time job:

Students can work up to 20–25 hours a week and full-time during holidays. While there’s no official restriction, balancing work and study is recommended.


Credit transfer or direct exchange programme:

 There are some universities in Georgia.  Some universities in Georgia have partnerships with institutions in Germany (e.g., Munich Technical University), allowing qualified students to participate in exchange or credit transfer programs. Additionally, many Georgian universities are part of the Erasmus+ program, providing opportunities to study in other European countries.
