ABOUT Kangwon National University
Kangwon National University is one of the core national universities in Korea.
With a history of 77 years, KNU has been educating prospective students who can lead the national and international community in various fields.
KNU is located in Chuncheon, Samcheok and Dogye in Gangwon province, and has 1,107 international students from 58 countries in our undergraduate, graduate, Korean language program. And KNU has global network connecting 336 universities, in 60 countries. Also, KNU has been making sincere efforts to respond to the rapidly changing global era. To this end, KNU has been actively participating in various international development cooperation activities with many countries.
